Many states, communities and schools across the country are considering Summer as the Best Season of Learning for students to avoid Summer Academic slump. As per the analysis made by National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) – a nonprofit association, this year, more than 100 bills that support Summer Programs are being considered by state legislatures.
June 19, 2015 – On the eve of Summer Learning Day, many libraries, school districts will host more than 700 Community Events all across the country. This initiative is led by National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) to ensure uninterrupted learning.
“All children deserve a memorable and meaningful summer”,said Sarah Pitcock, CEO of the National Summer Learning Association. This year for Summer Learning Day, Lumos Learning along with NSLA is urging everyone to pledge to keep kids learning in Summer.
