The goal for each workshop will be for teachers to deepen their understanding of the standards and walk away with multiple, practical strategies for classroom practice.
Customized for grade levels K-5 and 6-12, each workshop will include a presentation and discussion of a particular literacy standard as it relates to each grade band, an analysis of the strengths and struggles in implementing the standard, and 3-4 practical strategies that teachers can contextualize for their classrooms.
