What is SBAC?
Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) is one of two state consortiums responsible for developing assessments aligned to the new, more rigorous College and Career Readiness (CCR) Standards and Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Test developers are working together to create the new computer based English Language Arts and Math assessments.

Is Lumos tedBook™ completely aligned with the SBAC assessment guidelines?
This SBAC tedBook™ is aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Most states that are in the SBAC consortium will measure student achievement through state tests in the Spring of 2016 and SBAC assessments in the 2016-2017 academic year. This book is designed to assist students and teachers during the summative or end-of-the-year assessment period.

The SBAC tests are comprised of the Summative Assessments, the Interim Assessments, and the Digital Library which have been designed to support teaching and learning throughout the year.
